You heard from Mohamed Allam’s (2-1-0) about his upcoming fight against Travis Demko (4-0-0) on March 27, 2016 and NOW it’s time to hear from Demko. A little background on this matchup, back on September 18, 2015, both fighters fought a 4 round bout. There was aggressiveness from both fighters, some rounds were close. The judge’s scored the fight 39-37; 39-37 and 39-37 all in favor of Demko by UD. Many people in the crowd thought that Allam won the fight.
Now on May 13, 2016, on the Manfredo/Camacho undercard we have a 6 round rematch! (CLICK HERE for the post interview after the initial fight and CLICK HERE for Allam’s recent interview).
Pattee Mak: When I spoke to Allam and asked him “How did this rematch come about?” He replied, “Demko’s management kept trying to make the fight happen. I was always willing but I guess he [Demko] didn't want that fight.” Why were you looking for the rematch if the judges scored it in your favor?
Demko: Why was I looking for the rematch? Never was looking for one, he's a bum I beat him once and I'll do it again.
Pattee Mak: What are your thoughts on your performance of the previous fight and were you satisfied with the results of the judge’s scorecard?
Demko: I hopped off a barstool and still won the fight with ease. I'm in a good place right now.
Pattee Mak: In my post video interview (click here), Allam mentioned that “…He [Demko] was walking around in shame cause he knows he lost….”. Your thoughts?
Demko: That's a loser speaking right there. Losers need to come up with excuses. I won the fight unanimously, I'm looking for some real competition.
Pattee Mak: What would you like to say to Allam in regards of the comments that were made?
Demko: Nothing. The fights going to happen on May 13th. We'll be seeing each other.
Pattee Mak: Now that you spent time in the ring with Allam, what will you and your trainer be doing differently in preparation of this matchup on the 13th?

Demko: Nothing, back to business.
Pattee Mak: What weakness did you see in Allam and what do you think his strengths were?
Demko: I didn't see any strengths.
Pattee Mak: Last question, as of right now will you be 100% ready for this fight with no injuries or set backs?
Demko: I'm ready 24/7.
Pattee Mak: Any last words to your fans?
Demko: No words. Appreciate the interview, hit my website http://younghuss.bigcartel.com for tickets and gear. See you in a few weeks.
Pattee Mak: Thanks again for the interview. This is a bout that many are looking forward to see.
