CARD FINALIZED FOR "HEAVYWEIGHT SHOWDOWN" LIVE BOXING NIGHT AT ROCKINGHAM PARK APRIL 9, 20

Boxer Alex Santos

SALEM, NH (April 1, 2016)- Two more exciting match-ups have been added to the under card for the "Heavyweight Showdown", highlighted by the battle for the vacant IBO International Heavyweight crown between Alexis Santos and Daniel Martz in the main event at Rockingham Park April 9.

The monumental night of live professional boxing is a Big Six Entertainment promotion.

Jason Kelly (5-0-0), fighting out of Boston, puts his undefeated streak on the line when he takes on Casey Kramlich (2-0-1) in a what promises to be a highly-competitive 4-round Middleweight fight. Kelly impressed the crowd when he defeated Jesus Javier Cintron last October at The Rock and this will be Kramlich's first fight away from his hometown of Portland, ME.

In a 4-round tilt in the Super Middleweight division, Jaba Khositashvili, a native of the country of Georgia who now calls Philadelphia home, makes his professional debut against Greg Thomas (1-7-0), who also represents the City of Brotherly Love.

The eagerly-anticipated 8-round Featherweight co-main event pits New Haven native and rising star Josh Crespo (6-2-3) against former USA World Boxing Team member and national Golden Gloves champion Luis Orlando del Valle (20-2-0), who is represented by music mogul Jay Z's Rock Sports Nation.

Crespo, who once lived in his car for a year, is taking a big step up after capturing the New England Super Bantamweight belt in his last fight in November when defeating Jorge Abiaque

"He's a very tough fighter and he's got an awful lot of heart. There is no quit in him," said David Forsyth, Crespo's manager. "He has really quick hands and he's a very smart fighter with great ring awareness. He likes challenges."

In his day job Crespo is a paraprofessional for the West Haven, CT Board of Education and works with the disabled.

"Winning this fight would mean a great deal to Josh and for his career. This kid (del Valle) is somebody we've wanted to fight for a long time and we've been asking for this fight," Forsyth said. "He's coming in as the underdog but he's conquered a lot. Every guy he's fought has been ranked in the top 15 and he's either beaten them of gotten a draw in their hometown. Josh wants to prove himself."

The marquee event features the long-awaited 10-round grudge match between local favorite and New England Heavyweight Champion Alexis Santos (15-1, 13 KOs) and West Virginia invader Daniel Martz (14-3-1, 11 KOs) for the IBO International Heavyweight belt.

Lawrence, MA native Santos has been waiting almost two years for revenge against Martz, who put the only blemish on his record without technically beating him. It was a shredded knee that Santos suffered in the ring that forced him to absorb the TKO due to injury, and that surgically repaired knee required a long and hard road of rehabilitation.

Following the live main event, ticket holders will be treated to the closed circuit live simulcast from Las Vegas of the much-awaited 12-round rubber match between Manny Pacquiao, who has won world titles in four divisions, and Tim Bradley, Jr. for the vacant WBO International Welterweight title. The simulcast also includes the 12-round co-main event for the WBO Super Middleweight title between Arthur Abraham (44-4) and Gilberto Ramirez (33-0).

The night of thrilling action at Rockingham Park also includes tributes to Epping, NH’s Jack Sharkey, the world Heavyweight Champion during the golden age of boxing, and former WBA Heavyweight Champion John Ruiz, who also has Granite State ties.

Tickets are $35 (general admission), $45 (reserved) and $75 (ringside seating), and are available for cash-only purchase at Rockingham Park (603-898-2311 x admissions) or may be purchased by calling 860-982-2535. More information can be found at facebook.com/groups/bigsixentertainment.

Doors to the Rockingham Park Sports Club open at 6 PM and the first fight will get underway at 7:30 PM.

The weigh-in, which is free and open to the public, will be Friday, April 8 at The Stumble Inn in Londonderry, NH from 4-6 PM and the Corona Girls will be on hand for a promotion during the event.
