Pattee Mak: Mykey you just turned pro, already have a manager, signed with DiBella, you are on your third professional fight and all of this happened within a few months. How does that make you feel?
Williams: I feel great about everything that's happening. I'm fortunate to have the team I have behind me!
Pattee Mak: You’ll be fighting Johnson next week. I don’t know anything about him. Did you and/or your Team do your research on him?
Williams: Yes both my team and I did.
Pattee Mak: Has your trainer, Paul Cichon been changing anything up since you have turned pro?
William: Not really other than training with a strength and conditioning coach. Her name is Carmen from Iron Will Fitness in Manchester.
Pattee Mak: This will be your 3rd professional fight. Looking back, are you glad you turned pro when you did?
Williams: Yes, I think it was perfect timing.
Pattee Mak: Any regrets?
Williams: No, not at all.
Pattee Mak: Your pro debut was on April 16, 2016. Your 2nd fight was on June 30th. You have been extremely busy since your first fight. Are you trying to stay this active for the rest of the year?
Williams: Yes I am. The busier I am the better I'll get.
Pattee Mak: Do your friends see you differently or say you are a celebrity now that you are a professional fighter? Soon enough they might just see you on TV.
Williams: I don't think they see me differently. They just know that I'm in a bigger and more serious stage than I was before.
Pattee Mak: Any chance you might be the swing bout the 21st?
Williams: I'm not sure lol.
Pattee Mak: Now that would be awesome if you were.
Pattee Mak: Are you selling Tickets or at Manchester ROC?
Williams: Paul, Hector and I are all selling tickets.
Pattee Mak: Thanks so much for the interview. I’ll see you next week.
Williams: No problem, thanks for taking the time to interview me. Always a pleasure.
