Zack "Ak-47" Ramsey Is Back and In Full Force.

[Springfield, Massachusetts] Zack "AK-47" Ramsey (8-1-0, 4 kos) of Springfield, Massachusetts in collaboration with his new management team of Attorney Philip H. Lauro and VMS Management, Inc. had a recent big win when he fought for the New England lightweight title. Ramsey recently returned to Twin River Casino on Friday, April 7, 2017, on a CES undercard when he met up with Divante Jones (9-1-0, 6 kos) of Georgia in a 6 round bout. The fight only lasted four rounds. In the earlier rounds Jones was dominating, while Ramsey was playing his usual chess game while waiting on the counter. By the 4th round, Ramsey followed through with a right to the head knocking Jones down. Referee Joey Lupino intervened and gave Jones the eight count. As the round continued, Jones came back and Ramsey thrown a flurry of punches. The referee jumped in and stopped the fight at .58 seconds in the round. This is a great win for Ramsey and his new management team since it was only within a few months of this collaboration. According to Vinny Scolpino of VMS Management, Inc. he stated, “Many exciting things are in the works for Zack’s future. We just need to keep him focused on the bigger picture. Prior to this fight, training camp kept Zack busy and gave him an opportunity to spar with other boxers in his weight class that he never sparred with before. Ramsey’s future is bright as long as he can keep focused on the prize, which is to win a world title. Phil and I revived Zack’s career as planned and we are looking for great things to happen soon. Our team wanted to give a big thanks to CES and Jimmy Burchfield for jump starting his career and once again.”
