Todd vs. Sosa Stole the Show Last Nite At Foxwoods Casino w/Sosa Getting the UD, Vincent, Williams,

Super Lightweights - Females – 10 Round - Co-Main Event: Shelly “Shelito's Way” Vincent of New London, Connecticut with Peter Manfredo the chief 2nd in the corner walked out with the Italian colors in her hair with her usual green, white and red Mohawk. After 10 hard fought rounds against Edina “Double Kiss” Kiss of Hungry between two busy fighters with no knockdowns with Vincent being the aggressive of the two fighters while trying to backup Kiss against the ropes and moving her head. The judges scored the bout 95-95; 100-90 and 100-90 both for Vincent. Vincent wins by Majority Decision and increased to 22-2, 1 ko and Kiss 14-7, 8 kos.

Super Lightweight – 8 Rounds: "Marvelous" Mykquan Williams aka Mykey Williams of Connecticut with Paul Cichon as the chief 2nd , as Mykey took on a game ready Orlando Felix of P.R. At one point Williams was going to fight Nick Delomba but that fight fell thru. Mykey’s entrance was thru the stands and the crowd loved it. This was a short lived fight. It took Mykey 2:22 minutes of Round 1, Mikey backed up Felix against the ropes and unleashed a multitude of punches on Felix when Felix eventually went down by a right hand. Once Felix felt Mykey’s power and that was it. Felix seemed to not want any of it. After the first count by the referee, Michael Ortega, Mykey took advantage and capitalized on hurting Felix by finishing him. Williams wins by TKO and becomes the WBC USNBC Silver Super Lightweight champ. Williams increased to 11-0. 7 Kos and Felix 12-2-1, 4 Kos.

Welterweight – 6 Rounds: The highly anticipated matchup between Khiry "TNT" Todd of Lynn, Ma and Adrian "Tonka" Sosa of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Someone’s “0” had to go and the fans are loving this fight. Before the bell rang you could tell things looked heated between the two fighters. Both fighters looking hesitant in round 1 with Sosa trying to counter. Khiry’s holding. By round 4 the crowd was cheering TNT and Sosa. Sosa going to the body. Back n forth action. Sosa defensive skills showed in the ring tonight. After 6 rounds and no knockdowns the judges scored the bout 57-57; 59-55 and 58-56 in favor of Sosa by Majority Decision. Sosa increased to 7-0, 5 Kos and Todd 7-1, 5 kos.

Featherweights – 6 Rounds - Irvin Gonzalez of Worcester, Massachusetts vs. Jonathan Perez of Cali. Irvin controlled all 3 rounds starting off the 1st round with mostly three punch combinations. By round 2, Perez being more like a human punching bag. Gonzalez trying to stop him with body shots but Perez isn’t going down. By the 3rd round Gonzalez wins BIG with an uppercut on Perez and he drops to the canvas. Gonzalez gets the KO at .42 of round 3 increases to 10-0, 9 Kos and Perez 37-21, 29 kos.

Junior Welterweights – 4 Rounds: Davhon Shelton of Pawtucket, RI with Big Six as the chief 2nd in the corner and local mma fighter, Carlos Calindo of Woburn, Mass had a great 4 round bout. Shelton jabbin his way in trying to back up Calindo digging into the body and the head while Calindo at times landed and gave Shelton a run for his money. Calindo seems to come alive right before the end of each round. After 4 busy rounds and Shelton controlling most of the bout all the judges scored the bout 39-37. Shelton gets his 1st victory and is now 1-0 as a professional fighter and Calindo is 0-4.

Middleweights - 4 Rounds – Lamount Powell of Pawtucket, RI made his pro debut with Peter Manfredo as chief 2nd against Muay Thai fighter, Amadeu Cristiano of Boston, Ma. Either fighter having a height advantage but Powell was the quicker of the two fighters. At times Powell was fighting with his left hand low. Galindo received a point deduction in the 4th for holding and hitting behind the head. All three judges scored the bout 40-35 in favor of Powell.
