CES Boxing and CES MMA host press conference June 14 in Rhode Island

Providence, RI – CES Boxing and CES MMA are hosting a joint press conference next Tuesday, June 14 in Warwick, RI, to announce back-to-back events this month, both of which will be held at Ballys Twin River Lincoln Casino Resort.


Tuesday’s press conference will be held at Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar at 615 Greenwich Ave., in Warwick beginning at 2 pm. The first of two events for CES in June is CES MMA 69 scheduled for Friday, June 17 live on UFC FIGHT PASS® followed by CES Boxing’s Summer Splash a week later on Friday, June 24. *PRESS CONFERENCE DETAILS Tuesday, June 14 @ 2:00 pm Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar 615 Greenwich Ave. Warwick, RI 02886 *Open to public and the press CES 69 features Ashiek Ajim of New York battling Azjavkhlan Baatar of Mongolia in a five-round bout for the vacant CES MMA World Bantamweight Championship; plus the long-awaited return of Boston light heavyweight Mike Rodriguez and fan-favorites Richie Santiago of Milford, MA; and and Southampton, MA, lightweight Nate Ghareeb. On June 24 at Summer Splash International Women's Boxing Hall of Famer and Warwick, RI, resident Jaime "Hurricane" Clampitt continues her comeback in the eight-round main event against Texas lightweight Miranda "El Alacrana" Reyes. Summer Splash also features the return of hard-hitting Sicilian heavyweight Juiseppe Cusumano; rising lightweight prospect Alejandro Paulino of New London, CT; and the Ballys debut of unbeaten super middleweight and 6-foot-2 southpaw Francis Hogan of Weymouth, MA. CES 69 is CES MMA’s fourth event of 2022 and first at Ballys since March. Summer Splash is CES Boxing’s first event at Ballys since November of 2019.
