WELTERWEIGHT DERRICK WHITLEY, JR. RESIGNS With VMS MANAGEMENT & NOW HAS A PROMOTER

VMS MANAGEMENT, INC RESIGNED WELTERWEIGHT DERRICK WHITLEY, JR. TO A LONG TIME MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT AND VMS TURNED AROUND TO GET WHITLEY SIGNED BY A PROMOTER.

Oakland, NJ – Vinny Scolpino of VMS Management, Inc. is pleased to announce the resigning of 29 year old, welterweight, Derrick Whitley, Jr. (6-1-1) of Springfield, Massachusetts to an exclusive management contract for an additional three years.

In addition to the extended management contract VMS Management, Inc. secured a promotion contract with RDR Promotions out of Philadelphia. Whitley first fight with RDR Promotions is scheduled for June 25, 2021 with an opponent yet to be determined at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

Whitley is a well-known fighter from Western Massachusetts along with a well-known fighting family.

Whitley said, “I am super excited to continue to be represented by VMS Management and now RDR Promotions. I am appreciative of the opportunities to work hard. Can’t wait to see how far we take this.

Vinny Scolpino said, “I enjoy working with Whitley and am very pleased to have resigned him to a long term management deal. I am excited to work with RDR Promotions and looking to move Whitley into the right fights, at the right time.
